Description

Are you a skilled technician with a passion for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of production equipment? Join our team as an Electro Mechanical Technician! You will be responsible for maintaining all production equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, servo, and PC systems, as well as general building maintenance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Equipment Installation: Install new equipment, including electrical systems such as cable trays, pulling cables and wires, running conduit, and installing drives and motors.
  • PLC Troubleshooting and Programming: Troubleshoot and program PLCs to optimize equipment performance.
  • Lighting Maintenance: Replace and install lighting fixtures and office assistance as needed.
  • General Building Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks around the facility (plowing snow, shoveling, painting, ect)
  • Additional Duties: other duties as assigned from maintenance management


Qualifications:

  • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, manual dexterity, and the ability to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Skills: Proficiency with AC, DC, low voltage, and 480V equipment.
  • PLC Knowledge: Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to climb ladders and work with aerial platforms.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, speaking with all members of the plant employees and office staff.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency.
  • Multi-tasking: Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Shift : Willingness to work 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am) with some overtime/weekend work.

    • Training would be on 1st shift for the first 120 days of employment 6am - 2pm Monday - Friday


  • Education: Associates degree in Electro/Mechanical Technology or equivalent is highly preferred, but experience will be considered in lieu of education.
