What you will be doing
Manage the subcontracts for fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of all Rail Systems (Traction power, Electrical, Communication, ITS, TCS) for light rail projects.
- Coordination, planning, and scheduling of construction activities between multiple subs and tracking and reporting the progress.
- Manage project wide rail systems subcontractors to facilitate construction and delivery of systems work at wayside locations, stations and OMF buildings.
- Manage installation and testing of all systems work including traction power, electrical, communication, ITS, TCS, light rail vehicle, etc.
- Coordinate systems construction between the technical disciplines and subs - civil, train control, traction power/OCS, utilities, LRV's, integration and system safety.
- Work closely with all stakeholders to expedite testing, commissioning, and closeout of all systems construction related work.
- Responsible for change management, identifying and passing through change requests, evaluating, and estimating the change proposals etc.
- Track construction and procurement progress, evaluate subs monthly invoices.
- Monthly progress reporting and systems billing on the cost loaded schedule.
What we are looking for
- Require a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline
- Two years of experience Managing Design-Build, Installation and Testing of Rail Systems.
