Manufacturing / Internal Control Intern

Responsibilities

The Intern will participate in creating and maintaining the systems that support manufacturing and enforce AMUS standards. You will improve written processes, learn lean manufacturing, and work hands on with all manufacturing departments. In addition to the experience, an internship at Daifuku Automotive America Corporation will also expose you to the wide range of unique career advancement opportunities at Daifuku ranging from engineering management, technical services, manufacturing operations, product planning, and many other business functions.

Other Responsibilities

Documenting processes
• Reviewing and updating JHA's
• Reviewing and updating work instructions
• Creating standards
• Improving 5S
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational/communication skills
• Demonstrated PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Computer programming experience/interest desired
• Must be self-managed and committed to working in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on experience is desired
• Ability to relocate to the internship area

Education and Experience
Currently enrolled in a BS/BA or other relevant degree program.
