Overview:

We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong technical foundation to join our team. This role will provide hands-on support throughout the development/deployment cycle and requires familiarity with industry best practices.

Scope:

  • Work as a member of the team on projects involving the development of new features, sustenance, and handling engineering escalations.

  • Participate in all phases of the product development cycle: from product definition and design through implementation, debugging, testing, and early customer support.

Our Current Technical Environment:

  • Software: C++, Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth

  • Application Architecture: Scalable, resilient, event-driven, secure multi-tenant microservices architecture

  • Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HDInsight, Application Gateway, Virtual Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)

  • DevOps: CI/CD, Jenkins

  • OS: Windows, Linux

  • Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NoSQL, RDBMS, Spring Boot, Gradle, GIT, Ignite

What You'll Do:

  • Design, code, debug, and perform development activities in accordance with designated standards and procedures.

  • Contribute to architecture and design to make them simpler, more robust, and more efficient. Deliver reliable services that require minimal manual intervention.

  • Provide early visibility and mitigation of technical challenges throughout the journey.

  • Support products from conception to delivery, including problem-solving, defect maintenance, and support to customer services.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 1 to 2 years of hands on experience designing and developing software applications.

  • Java, MVC Architecture, J2EE, Struts, Portal Server, Web Development Experience

  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

  • Basic understanding of design patterns.

  • Understanding of database concepts.

  • Quick learner with a demonstrated ability to understand product architecture.

  • Experience with REST, JSON, and web services is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux development environments is desirable.

  • Experience in developing multi-threaded applications is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).

  • Experience with GIT and Jenkins is a plus.

  • Sound software engineering practices and a passion for quality.

  • Proven record of meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, targeted at a wide variety of internal and external audiences.

  • Independence, drive, motivation, willingness to go above and beyond, flexibility, and a cooperative spirit are expected.

The salary range for this position is $74,577 - $108,212

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
