Summary
Responsible for the day-to-day care of residents, which includes ADLS, IADLS, light housekeeping, and assisting residents with medications.

Essential Functions
-Provide leadership to PCA's and provides department orientation to newly hired PCA's.

-Assist Personal Care Director with shift schedules and bi-weekly payroll.

-Prepare a daily work assignment for each PCA in the absence of a supervisor and communicate pertinent information relating to resident care.

-Utilize chart-to-chart reports to communicate routine reporting to the PCA who is coming on duty.

-Assist with the new resident admission process.

-Ability to follow facility admission procedures and communicate resident admission to responsible party.

-Maintains effective working relationships and open communication with residents, family, and physicians.

-Addresses concerns regarding care and initiate corrective action if indicated.

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Medical Office/Hospital/Managed Care Experience 1-2 years required

- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
