Overview

Reporting to the President, CAES by Honeywell, within Honeywell Aerospace, the candidate will be a strong, dynamic, and experienced leader responsible for driving growth, capturing strategic pursuits, developing win strategies and improving customer loyalty across our portfolio, platforms, and programs specifically related to Advanced Radio Frequency (RF) systems, Advanced Computing and Software for design, development and production offerings.

You will be responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy, achieving key wins, and leading and developing strategic capture plans. The successful candidate should have the proven ability to consistently deliver on yearly AOP growth commitments through cross-functional leadership of the extended pursuit and capture team in pursuit of business development and growth objectives.

This role has broad executive engagement across DoD service branches, direct customers, and will also interface with Honeywell Aerospace executive management. This role can sit in multiple locations: Crystal City, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; San Diego, CA; San Jose, CA; or Lansdale, PA.


Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities will be in two key areas: executing a strategy for growth and team leadership and development.

Executing a Strategy for Growth:

  • Identify and win new growth opportunities within Electronic Warfare and Radar and Sensor applications.
  • Achieve business objectives impacting wins and growth pipeline expansion in the U.S. and internationally.
  • Develop and execute broad strategies to secure short- and long-term business.
  • Deliver winning proposals and strong, customer and mission specific, value propositions.
  • Establish and cultivate customer relationships with key stakeholders at all organization levels.
  • Validate and achieve 3-year and 5-year Strategic Plan (STRAP).

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Provide leadership and coaching to extended pursuit team.
  • Identify, assess, acquire, and develop the critical skills and behaviors for the growth strategy.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS:

  • Growth (Pipeline Expansion, Wins and Orders).
  • AOP Financials (Revenue, Margin).
  • Customer Satisfaction (VOC).
  • Discretionary investment (B/P).

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business or Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of business development, business management or engineering experience, including experience with and understanding of modern defense priorities and markets.
  • Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience with large, diverse technology or business development teams.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

  • Ability to hold and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
  • MBA or Advanced Engineering Degree preferred; PMP certification desirable.

SALARY RANGE

Base Salary: $269,000/year to $336,000/year. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as business results.
