This individual will be required to design, develop, and implement nondestructive testing (NDT) to evaluate the properties and conformance of a material, component, or system without causing damage. Record, analyze and report test results. Write testing plans and maintains test documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements.



Major Position Responsibilities

    Perform non-destructive tests on objects or materials to examine and attest functionality and performance.
  • Identifies errors and defects in equipment,
  • Use of ultrasound, radiography, or other techniques during the testing process.
  • May be responsible for testing mechanical components, storage, or transport vessels. Like pipelines or containers.


Basic Qualifications

  • Required Education: Vocational/Technical Training Degree
  • Preferred Education: Vocational/Technical Training Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Technical school or an applicable skilled trade program
  • Additional Certifications: NAS 410 Certification Level 1
  • Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 0-3 Years
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Technical expertise. Problem-solving skills. Time management skills. Manual dexterity. Required Near Vision Acuity and Color Perception.
