The Sales Specialist I is an entry level sales role that is responsible for selling transportation brokerage services by generating new opportunities and developing relationships with new and potential customers. Responsibilities include but not limited to identifying prospects, cold calling, cultivating relationships, servicing all customer needs, initiating and monitoring the completion of all customer contracts, requests for proposal and bids. The position will also be responsible for interacting and collaborating across other areas (finance, operations, legal, etc.) to ensure operational success for the customer/ to communicate all necessary information to ensure operations has the necessary information to execute. Essential Functions
Education Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or related field required; In lieu of related degree, a high school degree or GED and additional four (4) years experience in a customer service or related area will be accepted Minimum Experience 2+ or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or related field High school diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of an undergraduate degree Preferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
