CRS Data Analyst III, Research Technologies

The CRS Sr. Data Analyst - Research Technologies, analyzes and transforms operational data to inform and influence strategic decisions; translates data into actionable narrative by rigorously analyzing operational data and performing predictive modeling, data visualization, and storytelling.

Analyze operational data and business problems to identify trends, correlations, and insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Produce and present meaningful reports, dashboards, and visualizations to illustrate key metrics.
• Create predictive models to forecast trends in effective ways; deliver actionable insight.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, process data and provide meaningful solutions.
• Use professional knowledge and departmental or organizational objectives to influence data analysis methodologies and interpretation of insights; translates data into clear and concise insights and stakeholder presentations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy regulations and industry standards methodologies when handling and analyzing sensitive data.
• Lead analysis & implementation of research emerging technologies including integration of EHR data with research systems and associated dashboarding.
• May participate in designing tools for data & workflow processes including surveys and other reporting mechanisms.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Informatics, Finance or Accounting, with 5 years of experience working in data analytics or Masters Degree with 3 years of experience working in data analytics or a related role
• Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization tools/software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python).
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Knowledge of data governance best practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated learning agility.
• Practical understanding of department-specific processes and systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's degree in a field related to the department's operations, Business Analytics, or another related field.
• Extensive experience with Tableau, Smartsheet, OnCore CTMS.
• Professional certification related to the department's business operations.
• Experience with AI/Machine Learning tools and predictive modeling.
• Previous experience in delivering to end users reports and/or extracts.
• Accounting and/or Finance experience highly beneficial.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $91,333 to $136,968, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
