Creighton University in Omaha, NE is seeking to hire a Director of Assessment for the Center for Faculty Excellence. Key Responsibilities The Director of Assessment plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategies that foster a culture of assessment at Creighton University. In collaboration with the leadership of the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE), this position is responsible for leading and overseeing the assessment of student learning processes for both academic and co-curricular programs across the university, ensuring alignment with institutional mission and goals. The Director will also manage faculty development and peer review initiatives focused on assessment practices, course evaluations, and the use of formative teaching effectiveness tools to enhance instructional quality. This role provides strategic direction for the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of assessment processes across all university programs and campuses. The Director will collaborate with faculty, staff, and leadership to ensure the effective use of data in improving student learning outcomes, teaching effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with institutional accreditation standards. Responsible for creating and maintaining assessment dashboards, leveraging advanced data management tools and technical skills to analyze and visualize key performance indicators. This will involve managing complex data systems, ensuring the accurate collection and reporting of assessment data, and providing actionable insights to inform decision-making. The position requires an autonomous leader with a strong background in data management, program assessment, faculty development, and technical expertise in creating and maintaining effective data systems. Additionally, the Director will provide critical data support to meet accreditation requirements and will serve as a key member of the CFE leadership team, advancing the Center's mission and contributing to the strategic plan.
