Working Environment:
A student research training opportunity is available in the investigation of gut-brain interactions in neurologic diseases, including multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Working under general supervision from Laura Cox and other lab members, the student will execute protocols involving a variety of routine and non-routine experiments at a professional level, and troubleshoot and implement modifications on existing techniques, as appropriate. The student may suggest alternate technical routes and suggest options based upon research in the literature. Calculates, transcribes, and analyzes data using proper techniques.
