Job Summary The Clinical Informaticist leads efforts to investigate workflows, problem solve issues and implement efficient and effective solutions. This position works seamlessly within Information Technology (IT) and with clinical operations to optimize clinical practice and improve patient outcomes. The Clinical Informaticist analyzes data to identify risks, predict outcomes and understand trends to reduce errors, increase efficiency, and positively impact outcomes. Additional Requirements Required: Education - Bachelors degree in related field such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, or completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing Work Experience - 3+ years Clinical Experience Preferred: Certification - RN or LPN or other clinical areas such as Physical Therapist or Respiratory Therapist Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
