Summary:
Pacific Seafood is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support the Central Procurement (CP) team in compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of stocked material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support all our inventory control functions, ensuring each area is managed effectively
  • Manage CP invoicing
  • Ensure that all outside warehouses are reconciled on schedule
  • Ensure packaging requirements are integrated with indirect spending to ensure effective management
  • Monitor inventory shrink goals
  • Manage period end balances, packaging and outside storage
  • Conduct supply counts and adjustments
  • Manage and promote the movement of overstock/discontinued inventory, distributing lists weekly
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required:
  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in:
    • Accounting
    • Supply Chain
    • Business Administration
    • Or a closely related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Basic PC knowledge.
Preferred:
  • Prior internship or work experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, or Accounting
  • Familiarity with seafood or agricultural product markets.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
