Under general supervision provides housekeeping and environmental services duties in and around hospice locations; works with each department to meet the cleaning and infection control needs of each patient care area.
Education High school diploma required. Experience Minimum 1- 3 years of housekeeping/environmental services experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Skills Communication, trouble shootings and problem-solving skills required Basic computer skills preferred Physical Requirements Able to lift, carry, push or pull equipment, tools and materials, stoops, balances, climbs and kneels to gain access. Working Conditions Exposed to heat, wet, cold and noisy conditions Exposed to blood and body fluids. Conditions of Employment If employed with the Hospice of Washington County, following 90-days of successful employment, one must begin the process for Pennsyvania state employment which includes Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History (PATCH) background check, Child Abuse Clearance, and fingerprinting. Pay Range $16.63 - $21.06Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
