We are seeking a Cost Accountant who will report to the Hanger Fabrication Network (HFN) Finance Manager as part of the overall Finance Team supporting the Supply Chain business unit, which includes Distribution, Fabrication, and Cost of Materials for all of Hanger, Inc. This role will be based at out Austin, TX HQ.



Your Impact

    Assist with annual budgets, monthly forecasts, strategic planning and variance analyses within Hanger Fabrication Network (HFN)
  • Perform monthly close activities (accruals, journal entries)
  • Operating account and capex analysis
  • Create monthly reporting for device categories
  • Assist with the creation of formal presentations of financial results to senior management
  • Prepare weekly and monthly analysis of certain key performance indicators and other analysis (cost of materials, labor absorption, profitability)
  • Adhere to the financial calendar ensuring milestones are achieved and issues are resolved
  • Support value creation initiatives for fabrication optimization
  • Support HFN Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis
  • Support MRP implementation


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or similar is required
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant work experience preferably in manufacturing environment
  • Intermediate-level experience with spreadsheets, including the ability to work with look-ups and pivot tables
  • Ability to develop excellent interpersonal and communication skills and learn quickly
