This position is responsible for investigating and resolving end-user hardware and software problems, configuration issues, and vulnerabilities on company endpoints, including smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers. Under the Network Operations Manager, this role enables our business to operate at maximum efficiency by supporting the stable operation and security of our end-user devices in collaboration with the IT service desk, cybersecurity, and business teams.

Job Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact, and provide endpoint support, monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary adjustments, configuration changes, or repairs to prevent or resolve system failures.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users in support of ongoing operations.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and service components to provide optimal security, performance, and usability, including large-scale patch deployments.
  • Write and maintain knowledge base articles, user guides, and procedural guides in support of self-service and support issue resolution for the wider team and business users.
  • Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of specialized scripting and tools to automate routine tasks and enhance overall work efficiency.
  • Review ongoing patch releases and vulnerability assessments, implementing changes as necessary to keep devices current and protected from potential security threats.
  • Participate in incident response and mitigation efforts related to endpoint security.
  • Maintain accurate endpoint asset lifecycle documentation, inventories, and records.
  • Participate in established change-management procedures to ensure that all changes to established configurations are implemented in a controlled way with minimal disruption.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • One to two years' hands-on experience working with endpoint and patch management tools and technologies, provisioning, managing, configuring, and deploying endpoint operating systems, including Windows, Android, and iOS, using Mobile Device Management tools and scripting.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint operating systems management technologies, security principles, and practices.
  • Experience with scripting automation techniques, including querying and incorporating information from configuration databases and directory services.
  • Strong customer service mindset, professional demeanor, work ethic, positive can-do attitude, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to learn.
