Summary:

Under the direction of the Farm Manager, work in conjunction with all team members to rapidly assess fish and proactively diagnose to execute all aspects of the Fish Health Plan at our Aquaculture hatcheries and farm. In this role you are directly impacting the future of seafood and promoting a healthier planet.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dive Duties

  • Conducting regular underwater inspections, maintenance and repairs including monitoring photos when necessary
  • Dive or mort tend on a daily basis, unless checking anchor lines or weighting system reporting any noticeable fish disease issues to fish health.
2. Additional Duties
  • Perform general labor task, as assigned. Including operating various farm equipment, including but not limited to pallet jacks, forklifts, and farm boats
  • Provide back support for other duties needed
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required:

  • 4 years proven experience as a professional diver
  • Strong swimming skills and physical fitness

Preferred:

  • Experience with trout and/or net pen farming
  • Prior boat operator experience or license
  • First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Professional dive training, DIT or PADI Certificate
Pay Range: $20.67 - $23.15 per hour
