Answering or referring routine inquiries from students, faculty, staff, and the public regarding established departmental policies and procedures. Receives, reviews, and audit documents to ensure completion. Assisting with prospect data entry as needed and requested. May communicate with vendors and other customers to provide information regarding the status of accounts or other related transactions. Perform data entry of various information, including invoices and payments, to internal automated tracking and reporting system, general ledger, or other appropriate system after review for accuracy. Maintain manual and computerized files. Review files for accuracy and corrects information as needed. Prepares forms, correspondence, reports and other documents utilizing appropriate software. May create electronic batches of documents and remittances, correct and balance batches, compute tax liabilities and make corrections. Maintaining the physical appearance of the work area. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have the ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment while delivering exemplary customer service with many interruptions involving walk-in and telephone inquiries and requests. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Highly motivated and detail-oriented. Applicant must be able to work 40 hours a week.
