The Deposit Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the deposit services department, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of transactions, compliance with regulatory requirements, and exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising a team, managing workflows, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

As a Deposit Operations Supervisor, you will:


  • Supervise and lead the deposit operations team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of deposit transactions.
  • Ensure accurate general ledger and teller balancing.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Resolve complex customer issues and inquiries related to deposit services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on deposit operations metrics and performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new deposit products and services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant work experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in deposit operations or banking.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • 3-5 years management experience
