Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Spring Branch, TX. Interested? Here's what you'd do: Detailed engineering and design of overhead transmission line projects from conceptual design through construction from 4kV to 500kV. Detailed design of underground transmission line projects from 69kV to 230kV. Prepare detailed cost estimates and opinions on probable cost statements for the project with limited details. Prepare construction, material specifications, and scope documents for construction tenders and contracts. Be responsible for liaising with clients and contractors and coordinating with various disciplines and permitting agencies. Here's what you'll get: Pay: $100000 - $125000/year. Hours: 40 hours/week. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of applicable design experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience using PLS software suite, Sag10, AutoCAD, Microstation, and Microsoft Office Suite. Minimum of 5 years of experience with applicable codes, standards, and regulations necessary to design transmission lines in the United States, including publications from NESC, CPUC, ASCE, and RUS. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: P.E. license. Ability to inform the design process based on experience with similar projects. Ability to multitask from project to project. Good organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within a team environment. Ability to take on a project engineer or project manager role as necessary. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
