Job board applications are not always compatible with company applicant tracking systems.** Overview Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an Instrumentation Engineer, supporting TOS II, at Tunnel 9 in White Oak, Maryland. The Instrumentation Engineer will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating and maintaining the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. Open to internal and external candidates. Job Summary Lead and oversee the instrumentation design, implementation, and maintenance for wind tunnel testing in close collaboration with Tunnel 9 Test Engineers, System Engineers, and Engineering Technicians. This includes managing the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and documentation of various instrumentation systems measuring pressure, temperature, force, angle, and motion. The Instrumentation Engineer will provide technical expertise and guidance, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data acquisition for wind tunnel experiments. Job Duties:
Collaborate with Tunnel 9 Test Engineers, System Engineers, and Engineering Technicians to define instrumentation requirements for wind tunnel tests, including sensor selection, system design, and data acquisition strategies.
