Provides technical and operational support to bank personnel and customers for all processing activities and core application systems related primarily to Wire Transfer Deliver for business, consumer and bank operations.

As a Wire Operations Team Lead, you will:


  • Provides technical and operational delivery channel support to bank personnel and customers. Acts as internal resource for unusual situation/problem investigation and resolution activities associated with Wire Transfers this includes imaging, archiving and record retention.
  • Support Compliance Officer efforts to provide and maintain compliant wire transfer documentation and related forms. Oversees wire transfer processing to ensure compliance to wire policy and procedures.
  • Coordinate workload and train Wire Operations staff. Oversees day-to-day Wire Payments activity, monitoring internal controls and ensuring data integrity and appropriate retention of related documents and forms.
  • Assists with administration of bank's Wire Transfer systems, including, Payments Exchange, Director, Access Manager, and other related third-party programs and processes including, Verafin. Act as administrator for Wire related systems including Fedline and Wells Fargo. Reviews software updates, assists with new product design, and manages general workflow. Assists with training and communication efforts with appropriate Nicolet Bank staff.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements for all daily tasks and department functions. Serve as backup for Operations as necessary.
  • Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:

Directly supervise the Wire Operations Team in accordance with Nicolet's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; coaching, mentoring and development planning; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications


  • High School diploma or equivalent, plus additional relevant coursework required / 4-year degree in Business-related field preferred.
  • 2 years banking operations experience / 3-5 years banking operations experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to represent the bank in a professional and positive manner.
