Job Summary

Collaborate with the Director of Employee and Organizational Development to coordinate training, administer the Learning Management System (LMS), develop and deliver training programs, and manage special projects.


Essential Duties

Independently organize and run trainings, learning programs, and classes for college employees, including Supervisor Support Program initiatives and Leadership Academy.

Coordinate employee training logistical aspects, including event planning, reserving rooms and IT equipment, notifying instructors and participants, promoting training through TCC Today and email, scheduling speakers, closing classes, preparing and distributing evaluations, and handling any follow-up tasks.

Collaborate with department leaders and subject-matter experts to identify training needs and relevant support, such as Wellness Services, Police, and Title IX Training.

Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) by managing user access, uploading content, and creating classes. Run and interpret reports to monitor training and ensure compliance, sharing data as necessary. Provide troubleshooting support for users and develop training materials to guide employees in using the LMS effectively.

Ensure the completion of administrative tasks and maintain readiness for compliance audits. This includes scanning and uploading sign-in sheets and ensuring attendance records are accurately maintained in the Learning Management System (LMS).

Coordinate Professional Development (PD) activities as required and offer training support for various College and HR initiatives.

Facilitate group discussions among department employees to identify and address issues. Promote internal problem-solving to foster teamwork, enhance resilience, and overcome challenges.

Collaborate with third-party vendors on systems, training courses, contracts, and other related matters.

Serve as a resource for employees seeking guidance on training issues and gaps in their professional skill sets. Identify, source, and recommend training programs that best address their needs.

Plan, organize, and develop new training programs tailored to the evolving needs of growing and changing departments.

Support Engaged Learning and faculty professional development by uploading, managing, and maintaining content in the LMS.

Support other offices and departments in developing and implementing team-building initiatives.

Implement process improvements to enhance departmental performance as needed.

Maintain the online training environment by regularly updating content, managing group settings, and monitoring utilization.

Offer standard professional advice upon request.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, General Business, Liberal Arts, Education, Psychology or a related field. Degree requirement may be substituted with relevant and equivalent work experience.

3 years of related work experience.

Willingness to become certified to teach live or virtual training sessions and conduct training independently.

Ability to communicate well, provide a high level of customer service, and be a fast learner and inquisitive problem solver.

Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Flexibility in working independently or collaboratively on team-oriented projects.

Require demonstrated sensitivity when handling confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.
