Responsibilities

  • Contract, Credentialing, and Rate Management: Takes charge of all aspects related to contracts, ensuring meticulous handling of credentialing and rate management.
  • Contract Communications and VBA Reporting: Directs all activities related to contract communications and VBA reporting, ensuring clarity and efficiency.

  • Contract Review Processes: Manages and oversees the contract review processes, maintaining high standards and compliance.

  • Efficiency and Effectiveness Strategies: Implements innovative strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of managed care operations.

  • Collaborative Engagement: Works collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including providers, executives, operational teams, and regulatory authorities.

  • Innovative Managed Care Strategies: Develops and implements cutting-edge managed care strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Flexibility in Duties: Performs other duties as assigned, embracing new challenges and opportunities for growth.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred to give you that extra edge!

  • Experience: Bring your expertise! We're seeking candidates with 7-10 years of full-time professional experience in managed care contracting to help us navigate the complexities of the industry.

  • Knowledge: Your understanding of contractual, administrative, health insurance, and operational issues related to managed care organizations, healthcare providers, and health insurance benefit plan designs will be crucial to our success.

  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and ability to analyze payor contracts, provider manuals, reimbursement methodologies, and rates is essential. Your analytical prowess will help us optimize our operations and drive results!
