* This position is contingent upon contract award. *

Phoenix is looking for an experienced Field Operations Lead to provide leadership and oversight of Contractor Logistical Support (CLS) of Army Tactical Engagement Systems (TES). Position provides technical leadership and management oversight for Depot repair activities including inspection, testing, servicing, classification as to serviceability, repair, refurbishment, and overhaul of an item, device or Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS); removal and replacement of secondary items and components; and repair and remanufacturing of reparable components. Candidate must embrace a culture where all opinions are valued, where people are treated with respect, and employees can make positive impacts to contract performance and workplace environment. Create effective relationships that demonstrate sound teamwork and best practices with the Government as well as with teammates and other contractors. Present new ideas, identify possible efficiencies, opportunities for streamlining, and discuss all possible solutions in the performance of Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) for TADSS.

* Establish necessary relationships with support organizations, assess depot and repair line operations, and establish processes and procedures.

* Ensure an inventory of all tools, establish/update GFP controls for all tools and in-repair items in the depot or on the repair line.

* Maintain knowledge of the WTRS's geographically-disperse sites, personnel, and equipment.

* Manage Depot Repair activities for Louisville depot inventory, vendor coordination, training, and TADSS repair, calibration, and certification.

* Work toward depot maintenance process improvements and efficiencies.

* Provide customer support through oversight and performance of Depot Repair and sustainment projects.

* Oversee and/or perform any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and offsite depot repair of complex equipment and systems.

* Check out and approve Repair activities.

* Serve as company liaison with government personnel on administrative and technical matters for Depot supported activities.

* Interpret Government needs, define next steps, and clarify the assignment of responsibility for problem resolution as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* B.A./B.S. plus three years of experience, seven years of experience in lieu of degree.

* 3+ Years related work experience with managing/overseeing US Military/DoD contract maintenance/repair function.

* Experience with Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS).

* Experience interfacing with active duty military and civil service personnel.

* Experience leading a team of skilled technicians, engineers and Sub-contractor employees.

* Prior military experience or familiarity with Army tactical operations and training procedures.

* Experience operating Tactical Engagement Systems (TES) or similar training systems.

* Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer systems.

* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

* Prior military experience or familiarity with Army tactical operations and training procedures.

* Familiarity with live training environments such as CTCs (e.g., NTC, JRTC, JMRC, JMRC).

* Knowledge of Army doctrinal publications related to training.
