Auria is looking to hire a System Administrator (Global Operations Lead) to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. Primary work location is in Colorado Springs, CO at Schriever Space Force Base. Essential Functions:
- At C2BMC, our teams are committed to developing and delivering innovative solutions addressing our customers' most complex challenges, including cyber-resilient mission systems, within an Agile work environment.
- This leadership position is based at Schriever SFB (Task Order 60 and Task Order 03). This position will be the Level II Systems Lead for HTS and act as a liaison between operations and multiple teams to include integration, dev, and fielding.
- This position will report to the C2BMC-Global Lead and will be required to attend leadership meetings, update/present high-level briefs, and perform team lead responsibilities. Responsibilities include directing and participating in system troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance activities, both on-site and via remote telephonic support.
- As a subject matter expert, the candidate will oversee Level 2 troubleshooting, break/fix support, and preventive maintenance actions, regularly interacting with remote C2BMC sites and senior leadership within TO-60 and TO-03.
- Additional duties include attending meetings, managing team resources and schedules, continuous training to both Level IIs and COSAs, conducting performance assessments, and ensuring effective communication across various stakeholder groups.
- The candidate must be a proactive, self-directed leader capable of planning, coordinating, directing, and controlling team projects with minimal oversight.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
- Position is normally Mon - Fri: potential surges, may require on-call, evenings and weekends support during system anomalies and or tests.
Basic Qualifications: Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience
- or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of experience,
- or a PhD and 4 years of experience,
- or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- DoD 8140 certification at IAT - Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) is required
- Must have extensive expertise in system administration, monitoring, application management, and automation disciplines to ensure efficient system delivery, optimal performance, maximum uptime, and a robust cybersecurity posture.
- Must provide leadership in assessing and developing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), as well as Operating Instructions (OIs) essential for the administration, operation, and management of services within C2BMC operational environments.
- Proven experience managing Windows Domain Controllers, PKI infrastructure, and certificate administration on Windows domain controllers is required.
- Proficiency with automation utilizing Ansible and Bash in addition to familiarization with IBM DataPower products and expertise troubleshooting certificates within DataPower proxies is essential. Substantial experience with Red Hat or other Linux-based server administration is mandatory.
- Highly skilled in System Administration and Application to ensure uptime, performance, resources and security of the system is sustained and anomalies are fixed efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with virtualization and storage technologies such as Nutanix or VMware, as well as proficiency in automation tools i.e. PowerShell and Perl.

Salary Range:The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level ($134,000 - $145,000).
