Description
Auria is looking to hire a Systems Analyst to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. Primary work location is in Colorado Springs. The successful candidate will work with the C2BMC RA Fellow, the RA Analysts team and the software development teams. Tasks assigned by the Regional Applications leadership.. Essential Functions:
- Responsible for performing analysis and technical support of systems software products, including problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support
- Interfaces with other product teams to resolve problems and improve the overall efficiency of the system
- Must be able to frequently switch between high-priority tasks and be able to understand very complex algorithms, as well as missile defense and radar concepts
- Experience in Agile Environments
- Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings to all audiences, including technical subject matter experts and senior leaders
Basic Qualifications: Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume if applicable.
- Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience,
- or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience,
- or a PhD and 1 years of experience,
- or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Ability and willingness to travel between the C2BMC Development Sites (Colorado Springs, CO, and Huntsville, AL) and the C2BMC Test Bed (CTB) at Schriever SFB
- Experience with various Systems Engineering tasks and Analysis of complex software
- Must have experience and knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards and configuration management.
- Must have demonstrated proficiency using:
- MATLAB
- Python
- Java to analyze data
- Ability to develop short programs to assist with analysis in Java, MATLAB, Python, etc.
- Experience presenting analysis results information to software engineers, product owners, other senior program leaders, and customer representatives
- Experience performing analysis on complex algorithms for performance and functionality, and presenting analysis results to stakeholders
- Ability to reading and understand Java, C++, and/or Fortran code
- Experience with DOORS, JIRA, Confluence, or other project management tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- A master's degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience are highly desired
- Prior C2BMC experience
- Experience with missile defense battle management and command & control systems
- Applicants should have a good working knowledge of MS Office products
- Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasks is highly desirable
Salary Range: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level ($108,000 - $118,000).
