DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the inspection of construction activities related to road, bridge, and various transportation enhancement projects as assigned. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all work is executed in strict accordance with the established plans, specifications, and the specific provisions outlined in the contract. You will meticulously document both personal and contractor activities in Field Inspector's Diaries, Item Quantity Books, and sketch/Computation Books, providing a comprehensive record of progress and compliance. Additionally, you will be tasked with verifying that work zone traffic control signs and devices are correctly positioned and properly maintained, ensuring safety and efficiency in the construction area. Your attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards will be essential in facilitating successful project outcomes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Seasonal, Full-time employment
- The seasonal program is from April through October.
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Graduation from high school. or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position requires possession of a Class C non-commercial driver's license.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
