Manufacturing Supervisor-Fabrication
The Manufacturing Supervisor is a key part of the CTP management team reporting directly to the
Performance Center Director. This
individual will be tasked with leading the fabrication department to
efficiently and effectively exceed customer expectations by driving operational
excellence. This will be achieved by generating and coordinating the execution
of production schedules, facilitating the processes and procedures to meet
quality requirements, and driving continuous improvement through process
optimization.

Job Summary
- Deliver quality products to meet customer demand, contractual requirements and business objectives based on schedules
- Effectively utilize and execute continuous improvement activities to reduce cost, improve competitiveness relative to hours-per-unit, cycle times and required quality in a visual factory.
- Control and improve operational costs, both direct and indirect for assigned areas.
- Participate in periodic audits to ensure compliance to company standards Team with Supply Chain for the maintenance of inventory levels to optimize operating income and drive a competitive position for future business.
- Develop production and staffing plans in support of manufacturing requirements
- Direct the day-to-day priorities of identified Quality and Process resources to support overarching business requirements
- Ensure that assigned employees are properly trained / cross-trained and are performing in accordance with expected productivity measures.
- Participate in recruiting, selection, and development of all operations personnel through maintaining discipline and personnel relations, interviewing screened applicants
- Provide input for hiring, terminations, transfers, salary adjustments, and promotions
- Coordinate with EH&S to foster workplace safety and enforcement of safety policies and training

- Computer skills-intermediate knowledge of e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Explorer, ERP, Kronos etc.
- Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
Required Experience and Education
- H.S. Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering, manufacturing or a technical field and relevant experience preferred.
- Five (5) to Ten (10) years experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with increasing levels of responsibilities including supervision and management experience.
- Knowledge of aerospace company specifications and best-practices.
