Job Description

Senior Security Operations Program Manager

Location: Santa Clara, CA (In-Office)

Overview

The Senior Security Operations Program Manager will lead and manage physical security operations across all U.S.-based office locations, with a primary focus on the Santa Clara, San Diego, and Orlando campuses. This role requires a strategic leader with expertise in security operations, vendor management, and risk mitigation, capable of independently driving operational excellence and continuously improving security programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing contract security personnel, optimizing security strategies, and aligning security initiatives with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities & KPIs Strategic Security Operations Leadership
    Oversee all physical security operations across U.S. offices, maintaining 100% compliance with corporate security policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Develop and execute security strategies and risk mitigation plans, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to security industry best practices.
  • Serve as a key liaison between corporate leadership and external security vendors, driving collaboration and alignment with security objectives.
Vendor & Guard Force Management
  • Manage contract security personnel, ensuring 100% compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and 100% completion of required training.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and drive process improvements to enhance security service delivery.
  • Ensure contract security partners meet 100% coverage for scheduled security posts and special event support.
Risk Assessment & Crisis Management
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments and security audits, ensuring zero critical vulnerabilities in security operations.
  • Act as a key member of the crisis management team, leading incident response efforts and ensuring 100% compliance with emergency protocols.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies that align with corporate security and regulatory standards.
Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement
  • Collaborate with Facilities, HR, Legal, and IT to align security operations with broader corporate initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement programs, increasing security efficiency through process optimization and technology adoption.
  • Provide data-driven insights and reports to leadership, tracking 100% completion of strategic security initiatives and KPIs.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in security operations, with 3+ years in a leadership role managing multi-site security operations.
  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, crisis management, and vendor oversight.
  • Expertise in financial oversight, budget management, and contract negotiations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Prior law enforcement or military experience in administration, operations, or leadership roles.
  • Industry certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP).
  • Experience with security technology platforms, including CCTV, access control systems, and incident management tools.
Additional Information:
  • Must be able to work on-site in Santa Clara, CA.
  • Quarterly travel required to support regional security initiatives.
