Job Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is Visa's strategy consulting group, specializing in strategy consulting, data analytics, and pragmatic industry experience to improve client performance. The Senior Director, VCA Managed Services role offers a seasoned leader the opportunity to build, develop, and grow a new service offering focused on conversions and migrations within the payment card industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultative Selling: Identify client needs, challenges, and opportunities relating to conversions and migrations. Present tailored solutions and quantify their value to clients.
  • Offering Development: Develop scalable services leveraging Visa and third-party assets, define value propositions, create sales collateral, and establish product pricing strategies.
  • Solution Delivery: Demonstrate strong project/program management skills and ensure flawless delivery of services.
  • Customer Centricity: Maintain a strong executive presence, communicate technical and non-technical aspects of solutions, and work comfortably across a spectrum of clients from institutional banks to fintech startups.
  • Industry Knowledge: Keep a deep understanding of the competitive environment and use this knowledge to shape differentiated Visa solutions.
  • Communications: Lead conversations with clients, communicate across functional stakeholders, incentivize cross-functional teamwork, and demonstrate strong diplomacy skills.
  • People Leadership: Structure teams effectively and lead high-performers to higher performance levels.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
  • 10+ years consulting and sales experience with a top-tier firm, 5+ years with a processor in the payment card industry, significant experience managing conversions and migrations, and a demonstrated ability to sell solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial mindset, knowledge of competitive environments, collaborative approach, resilience in navigating ambiguity, and a growth mindset.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 170,000 to 233,800 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
