AVP Direct and Agency Sales

Location: This is a full-time position working onsite in Columbia, SC. This role home base is located at 4101 Percival Rd.

Position Purpose: Responsible for overseeing marketing, sales, and retention activities for the ACA and Medicare lines of business.

What You'll Do:

• Develops and implements marketing and sales programs for ACA and Medicare Products.

• Responsible for generating sufficient sales to cover cost of operations and provide profitable growth to the division.

• Responsible for the development and management of all sales channels including Agency Sales, Telemarketing, Internet, and Direct Sales.

• Responsible for budgeting, planning, and hiring necessary staff.

• Responsible for health insurance agent licensing and appointment functions.

• Responsible for design of agent commission programs.

To Qualify For This Position, You'll Need The Following:

• Required Education: Bachelor's

• Required Work Experience: 10+ years marketing/sales experience with proven ability to generate sales in individual products market segments. 5 years management experience OR equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above (may be concurrent).

• Required Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of Marketing and Sales techniques. Strong health insurance industry knowledge. Strong analytical and management skills. Good working knowledge of communications, advertising, promotional techniques, and distribution channels.

• Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office.
