Senior Bridge/Structural Engineer

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Senior Bridge Structural Engineer in our Columbus, OH office, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world.

You'll change the shape of your community by connecting people and designing bridges, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Structural team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.

Here's what you'll do:

• Responsible for the management, growth and professional development of Columbus Structures/Bridge Group.
  • Coordinates group activities to establish priorities and assigns staff to jobs.
  • Ensures staff development, mentoring and training needs are being met.
  • Collaborates with other Service Lines and Groups within the office on work-sharing needs and opportunities.
• Performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, and design.
• Manage and lead local, state, and regional projects.
• Assists in marketing responsibilities, including client discovery, client meet & greets, proposal generation, interviews, and win-to-work activities.
• Maintains client contacts to ensure client satisfaction.
• Perform QA/QC reviews.
• Perform other duties as needed.

We're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Master's degree is a plus.
• P.E. license is required. S.E. license is a plus.
• 15+ years related experience.
• Experience leading/delivering structural projects for ODOT, counties and local municipalities.
• Drive to develop/expand industry contacts and connections is required.
• An entrepreneurial mindset that is committed to growing V3's Ohio program.
• Working knowledge of MicroStation / OpenRoads CE software. OpenBridge experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
