Bereavement Administrative Coordinator Gilchrist

Under minimal supervision, coordinates office operations and performs a variety of complex administrative management activities in support of Bereavement Services, including the supervision of volunteers. Responsible for assigned projects involving internal and external coordination of people and materials. Acts as administrator for the Bereavement electronic medical record (EMR). Requires schedules flexibility to include occasional evening and weekend hours for volunteer trainings, wellness day and support groups.

Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience:
Requires 1 to 3 years in an administrative role
Supervisory experience preferred
Intake and/or psychology background preferred
Skills:
* Skill in oral and written communication
* Strong customer service skills
* Skill in effective problem-solving; ability to manage projects; skill in exercising initiative, develop and maintain collaborative relationships, and balancing multiple priorities while being flexible to react to changing needs.
* Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively and courteously with a diverse group of internal and external callers and visitors. Ability to maintain a pleasant, customer-centered demeanor and professional image under a variety of challenging situations.
* Ability to organize, manage and direct work flow of work staff.
* Skill in using computer applications applicable to the department as well as database, spreadsheet and word processing tools.
* General knowledge of data analysis and interpretation
* Analytical skills to interpret and communicate policies and procedures, and to identify and initiate appropriate corrective action to resolve problems.
* Working knowledge and understanding of various compute programs. Ability to learn new programs and act as application administrator.

  • Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and applies the knowledge to meet age-specific needs if applicable.

Pay Range

$50,128.89 - $77,699.78

Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
