Hours & Pay:



  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  • Pay Range: $24.50 - $27.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications



Position Summary:

As a CNC Mill Machinist, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating multiple CNC machine tools in a low-volume, high-mix production environment. From first cut to final inspection, you'll lead every step of the process-delivering precision parts that meet exacting standards across the rail and transit industry.

What You'll Be Doing:



  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines for low-volume production
  • Monitor quality, troubleshoot issues, and optimize machine performance
  • Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMMs
  • Maintain accurate SPC data and adjust processes as needed
  • Support continuous improvement projects such as SMED and Kaizen
  • Follow 5S principles and perform routine equipment maintenance

What We're Looking For:



  • Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience
  • Ability to interpret complex blueprints, use GD&T, and edit CNC programs
  • Skilled in the setup and operation of FANUC controls and Renishaw probing systems
  • Experience using CMMS and performing First Article Inspections (FAI)
  • Strong understanding of basic shop math, including trigonometry
  • Able to work independently and safely in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
