Salary Range: Up to $200,000 plus bonus

Natus Sensory, Inc. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Logistics to lead the development of our logistics and 3PL strategies. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be crucial for scaling logistics capabilities, optimizing supply chain efficiency, managing third-party logistics (3PL) services, and our international freight partners. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with extensive industry experience, responsible for building and executing strategies for long-term growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and lead two new 3PLs (USA & EU), developing strategies, infrastructure, and processes for optimal performance.
  • Design and implement logistics & freight strategies to support business objectives, including warehouse operations, transportation, and inventory management.
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 Environmental policies and processes.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a logistics team capable of driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external clients, ensuring our 3PL services meet or exceed expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for improving supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing service levels.
  • Introduce and oversee the adoption of technology solutions to streamline logistics and supply chain management.
  • Develop and manage budgets for logistics operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.

Travel Required:

Some travel is required, up to 30%.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position will manage a team and be responsible for performance management, coaching, training, and development.

Qualifications Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior logistics or 3PL role, with proven success in building and managing operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, transportation management, warehouse operations, freight-forwarding, and industry best practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build partnerships and foster collaboration.

Key Tasks:

  • Creating SMART goals and KPIs for the Warehouse and Distribution functions, including health and safety, stock accuracy, effective warehouse layout, and processes
  • Driving continuous improvement and lean projects to achieve optimal operational efficiency.
  • Working with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Logistics teams to drive the "On Time In Full" (OTIF) metric to 98%.
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy of 99%+ and driving cycle counting processes, ABC analysis.
