As a Security Professional - Armed Logistics in Plant City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. This is an armed post, requiring you to remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide excellent customer service and communication to all personnel and visitors. You will contribute to a positive environment by acting with integrity, working collaboratively with your team, and upholding the values of reliability and innovation throughout your daily responsibilities.

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by following access control procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within logistics and distribution locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and monitor for security-related incidents.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized personnel from accessing restricted areas.
• Document and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Florida Armed Security Professional License is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military is required.
• A valid Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
