Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Telecom team in Maine! Responsibilities
- Independently prepare and/or review traditional mount and tower analyses and modification designs.
- Prepare and/or review complex telecommunication structure analyses and modification designs with limited guidance.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering designers, technicians, and administrative staff.
- Prepare or review scopes of work and budgets, and schedule assignments.
- Proficient in building analysis and evaluations.
- Perform field investigations/site visits, as needed.
- Provide technical support for specific delegated tasks.
- Perform Engineer of Record duties for structural telecommunication projects in multiple states.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
- 5+ years of related engineering experience is required. Telecommunications structural engineering experience highly preferred.
- PE license required; SE licensure a plus.
- Proficient with RISA 3D, tnxTower, and other structural analysis software as applicable.
- Ability to learn and apply technical skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrate extensive, diversified, and complex knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, principles and practices.
- Demonstrate advanced investigative, analytical and research skills.
- Demonstrate advanced technical and nontechnical writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Requires a pre-employment drug screen. MVR will be checked and monitored.
