Job Summary:The Landfill Administration Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to the landfill management team. This role involves handling various office tasks, maintaining records, and assisting with customer service inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Clerical Support:Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of waste disposal, equipment maintenance, and staff schedules.
  • Customer Service:Respond to inquiries from the public and other stakeholders, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Scheduling:Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and site visits for the landfill management team.
  • Reporting:Prepare and distribute reports on landfill operations and compliance.
  • Inventory Management:Track and order office supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Compliance Support:Assist in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations by maintaining up-to-date documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Education:High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in office administration or related field is a plus.
  • Experience:Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role.
  • Skills:Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attributes:Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a customer-oriented approach.
