IT/IS Sr Project Manager, ERP

Job Summary

The IT/IS Sr Project Manager, ERP role in the Masimo Information Systems (IS) department is essential to the success of projects in our department. This role will leverage Project Manager, Scrum Master, and ERP implementation experience with knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodology and tools to help guide the IS Oracle team to deliver Oracle EBS R12 at Masimo.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Project Management: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans and manage project execution to ensure timely delivery.
• Scrum Facilitation: Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution.
• Agile Coaching: Educate and coach team members on Agile principles and practices, promoting continuous improvement and self-organization.
• Support the Product Owner: Assist the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and ensuring clarity and prioritization of user stories.
• Remove Impediments: Identify and remove any obstacles that may hinder the team's progress and productivity.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on team progress and performance metrics. Track project lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members.
• Change Management: Oversee and approve releases to the Production environment.
• Maintain Regulatory Compliance: Help to ensure that all development activity is aligned with both SOX and FDA procedures.
• Strong Organization: Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Relationship Management: Assist the Sr. Manager with vendor management, contract negotiation and communications with those vendors

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Five or more years of project management and Scrum Master roles within an Agile environment.
• 3-5 years in a project management role with Oracle EBS ERP implementation.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management and Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence or similar.
• Experience with operating in a regulated environment, specifically SOX and FDA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS in a manufacturing & sales environment
• Demonstrated Business Applications project management experience, preferably in the healthcare field.

Education

Bachelor of Computer Sciences (or equivalent) degree required. An MBA or advanced degree is desirable.

Compensation: The anticipated range for this position is $135,000 - $160,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.

Physical requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
