This position reports to the Director, HR Shared Services and is responsible for leading the team managing our HR technology suite. This role will play a continued successful deployment of Dayforce HCM solutions for Woolpert. Essential Functions As a Senior Manager, HR Technology at Woolpert, you will:
Direct/Manage/Supervise all phases of functionality, data management, reporting, and other operations of the HR information systems for the organization; provide leadership and guidance for HR technology team members
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Finance, IT, and other key stakeholders to understand business needs and recommend technological solutions to streamline and automate processes, this includes working in partnership with HR and Payroll contacts for our acquired companies for a smooth integration of their systems or transition to ours.
- System Management: Oversee the implementation of system upgrades, fixes, and enhancements, ensuring adherence to best practices in change management. Create project plans and timelines for implementation activities.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date technical documentation, including design specifications, system configurations, and testing plans for all projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest system functionalities, releases, and patches, guiding the team in leveraging these to enhance system performance and capabilities.
- Data Management: Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the HRIS. Monitor data quality and troubleshoot any issues as needed.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Work with HR leadership and business leadership to identify and define areas of focus, data needs, metrics, reports and dashboards
- Acquisition HR Systems: Support the transition of acquired company employees into Woolpert's HR systems which includes managing new data migration activities ensure accurate and timely transfer of employee data records into Dayforce and working with internal stakeholders to advise on variances in results between legacy and Dayforce payroll. This role will also oversee the configuration of Dayforce Payroll for new legal entities to meet specific requirements and statutory regulations and ensure a smooth transition into Dayforce.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 6+ years of technical experience in implementing and optimizing HR technology systems.
- Strong expertise and deep understanding of system configurations, workflows, and business rules within Dayforce
- Must be able to conduct system integration testing within Dayforce HCM
- Must be able to develop and execute test plans to validate functionality and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product features and technical specifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Strong data analytics, reporting, PowerBI, and Excel capabilities.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Diverse experience implementing and maintaining various HR technology systems, including Greenhouse and various LMS solutions.
- Willing and capable of learning Woolpert's integration with Microsoft Dynamics D365FO
- Experience working on acquisition integrations, leading implementation of HR technology systems across multiple countries.
