Assistant Vice President, Business Strategy

Assistant Vice President, Business Strategy, Honda Aircraft Company LLC, Greensboro, NC. Work w/ sr leaders to establish & lead development of comprehensive business strategies aligned w/ organizational goals. Support key strategic priorities/projects in partnership w/ other functions/stakeholders. Drive innovation by exploring new business models/technologies/industry best practices. Identify trends in marketplace & monitor competitive landscape to determine impact to organization & uncover opportunities for innovation/growth. Plan, organize, & supervise work related to any new initiative, assess progress, analyze results obtained, & recommend adjustments to achieve stated objectives. Advise strategic leadership on all initiatives/business strategy/special projects to ensure company's goals & objectives are met. Analyze data from variety of sources & recommend solutions to support decisions/align others with the organization's business strategy. Oversee 2 subordinates. Min reqs incl: Master's in Complexity Sci. & Eng., Business, Aviation, or Eng. plus 12 yrs relevant exp. inc. 12 yrs exp in strategy consulting such as long-term corporate strategy dev., existing/new business strategy dev., & business strategy implementation; 1 yr exp as sensor eng'r developing sensors & implementing to manufacturing processes to improve product quality; 12 yrs exp analyzing & drawing conclusions from large/complex data sources (both qual. & quant. data sets); 12 yrs exp researching & providing data about industries/companies/technologies; & 8 yrs exp creating financial models.
