Experienced Information Assurance Professional

Active DoD Secret

10+ years of progressive experience in the IA field (Security tester, Security Analyst, IA analyst)

3+ years of experience working as a ISSO lead or in a ISSM capacity supporting DoD or Government client

Strong understanding of A&A i.e. RMF and NIST packages

Hands on experience with ACAS and HBSS/ESS

Experience and ability to configuration and understanding of logs using solar winds

Policy experience in the DoD arena, preferably Army

Must be able to read and understand network topologies

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

High attentional to detail

Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work well with and lead other team members

Must have IAT Level II Certificate Security+ce,

DUTIES:

Oversee and work with the IT Security Support team supporting DOD client

Provide technical support for overall IT systems including: Security improvements, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, network security and more

This candidate will be responsible for the Cyber scorecard, Token administration, wireless scanning and ticket management for the team

Responsible for wireless scanning as well as configure and interpret scans for both ESS and ACAS systems

Listing ATO and Artifacts and providing documentation following RMF standards

Providing technical support to the Government in transitioning to and complying with the DoD and national level policies

Assessing Cyber Security/IA needs and reporting (managing and organizing data sufficiently to report proposed actionable changes)

Provide some technical support to the DoD in the incorporation of policy into appropriate regulations and pamphlets; in drafting, reviewing, revising, and delivering Cyber Security/IA policy documents

Conduct security tests and audits

Knowledge required of the entire spectrum of Cyber Security tools and processes to include: intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, eradication tools and procedures; cross-domain solutions and multiple level security solutions; wireless personal electronic devices

Clearly articulate requirements and other information in written documentation such as Security Plan, Contingency Plan, Contingency Plan Test, Business Impact Analysis
