Accounting and Finance Intern

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting and Finance Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, budgeting, and internal accounting operations. You will work closely with experienced professionals and assist in supporting the day-to-day financial activities of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and other accounting documents.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support monthly and quarterly account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data and information.
• Support special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
