Work as part of a team with senior-level client personnel and KPMG Advisory professionals, including specialists, to help design internal audit/Sarbanes Oxley programs, working papers, and internal audit reports. Continue to grow a command over all aspects of a data driven internal audit process and throughout the entire project lifecycle to deliver high-impact performance results. Assist in creating different strategies for client risk assessments and annual audit plans and support the execution of those strategies. Develop relationships with and learn from engagement managers and subject matter professionals/specialists. Identify and clearly communicate performance improvement opportunities and leading practices to client personnel and senior management and work with partners to assist in practice management including resource allocation, career development of staff, and other administration decisions. Establish proficiency through sharing and participation in the continual development and publication of thought leadership and service offerings. Develop and maintain a positive, productive, collaborative professional relationship with the client and engagement or project teams to provide well-coordinated and consistent high-performance results. Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff members.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Perform internal audits from the beginning of an engagement or project through completion; Communicate the strategic value of Internal Audit in meeting business challenges; U.S. GAAP; Compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley/SOX.

Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. required up to 10%.

Travel to various international locations required up to 5%.

Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location, depending on business need.
