This opportunity is in the Accounting & Finance department
Our Accounting & Finance department is dynamic and collaborative. Role Description:
As an Accountant IV in Financial Reporting, you will play a key role in producing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders on a STAT, GAAP, and IFRS basis. You'll be hands-on in preparing journal entries, complex analytical reports, and portions of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You'll also support management reporting and board-level presentations. In this role, you'll collaborate with other accounting functions, research evolving accounting principles, contribute to the budgeting process, and coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders. This position also supports onboarding and mentoring less experienced team members and reviewing low-risk deliverables, making it ideal for a proactive, independent professional ready to lead through influence.
Qualifications:
Education:
A bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of relevant experience in public accounting or the insurance industry
- Experience with investment accounting and/or PeopleSoft
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA designation preferred
- MBA is a plus
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work independently
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail

In our vision to be First with Co-Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target base salary range for this position is 86,000 to 112,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
