Job Title: Distibution Center Manager
Full Time / Exempt
Location: Clinton, SC
Reports To: Senior Director

As our business continues to grow, we're seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager to lead our facility with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
General Summary: Reporting directly to the Senior Director, the Distribution Center Manager is responsible for the safe, organized, and effective day-to-day operation of our high-volume distribution center. This role oversees team performance, ensures accuracy in receiving and shipping, manages projects, and upholds safety and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of the distribution center, ensuring timely and accurate execution of tasks.
- Oversee all DC functions including receiving, order picking, inventory, loading/unloading.
- Train, evaluate, and mentor team members; enforce safety protocols and performance standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Collaborate with branches, customers, and internal departments via phone, email, etc.
- Manage warehouse cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and facility security.
- Handle special projects and implement operational solutions as assigned by the Senior Director.
Preferred Education and Qualifications:
- Experience with ASRS systems, conveyor systems, and warehouse automation.
- 3-5 years of management experience in a large, high-volume distribution center.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in DC operations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (Latitude experience a plus).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Working Conditions and Requirements: A physical presence in the distribution center is required due to the nature of the work and operating conditions. Overall conditions and temperatures will reflect local weather conditions. Distribution center is not heated or air-conditioned. Distribution center conditions are dusty. Individuals will be required to be certified within a set period of time to operate powered material handling equipment. Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift/MHE. This is a safety sensitive position.
