As a BI Analyst on our Finance BI team, you will partner with Workloads Finance to deliver business intelligence reporting that supports our Sales, GTM, and Executive teams. Workloads Finance analyzes the performance and growth of Snowflake's core product offerings to inform strategic decision-making. In this role, you will develop applications and manage data pipelines that power financial reporting, streamline QBR workflows, and surface actionable insights into our GTM strategy. You will also collaborate with analysts across Finance on quarterly ad-hoc analyses. The ideal candidate is proficient in SQL, Python, and BI tools, with a strong understanding of data best practices and stakeholder engagement.

This role requires in-person attendance in our Menlo Park, CA office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with Workloads Finance and other Finance teams to deliver impactful BI reporting and analysis.

  • Develop applications that report on our GTM strategy and provide our sales and GTM teams with actionable insights into data.

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines that support financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.

  • Team with Workloads Finance, Sales, and other Finance teams on ad-hoc analyses and reporting needs during fiscal quarter close.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes, data quality, and systems to enhance reporting and decision-making.

  • Think creatively to find optimal solutions to our complex, often unstructured problems.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or other data-focused roles.

  • Strong SQL expertise, including analyzing data, standardizing queries, and building large-scale relational datasets.

  • Proficiency in Python and application development, with an emphasis on scalability and user experience.

  • Experience developing and deploying enterprise-grade reports using BI tools like Streamlit, Tableau, or Looker; experience with Sigma is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior executives and effectively explain design decisions.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Past experience working in a finance data role, or directly supporting analysis and reporting for finance stakeholders.

  • Past experience in SaaS Product, Sales, or GTM Analytics is a strong plus.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $113,000 - $150,100.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
