Our purpose is simple yet powerful: to strengthen American industry. We are looking for an Electric Motor Winder to join our team in Neenah, WI. In this role, you will play a vital part in rebuilding and restoring electric motors that drive industry forward. If you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and mechanically inclined, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills with a trusted industry leader. What You'll Do Inspect electro-mechanical equipment for damage and signs of failure Test windings using EASA standards and document electromagnetic characteristics Dismantle and prepare motors for rewinding, including stripping damaged windings Rewind electric motors, applying proper insulating techniques Operate specialized equipment (e.g., winding machines, test panels, surge testers, cranes, forklifts, ovens, grinders) Perform final testing on rewound equipment to verify performance and safety Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all company policies and safety procedures What You Bring High school diploma required; technical certificate or associate's degree preferred Mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience in a shop or industrial setting Previous winding experience is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office is helpful Self-motivation with the ability to work both independently and on a team Strong communication skills and attention to detail Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Why Kurz?
