Position Summary & Responsibilities:
The location of this position is in Salt Lake City, UT and will be a 6 - Month Contract with option to extend. bioMerieux is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to work as a member of the Talent Acquisition team to identify talent pools, develop sourcing strategies, and build talent communities and pipelines for a variety of manufacturing and facilities roles: (manufacturing, facilities, quality assurance, and engineering). This position will leverage multiple recruiting software systems, sourcing techniques, and review applicants.
  • Review, screen, and interview candidates for experience, skills, and knowledge with regards to job description requirements and business needs
  • Extend and negotiate offers with candidates
  • Partner with hiring managers to assess organizational needs, define roles and requirements, and execute talent acquisition strategies
  • Effectively manage the hiring process, including tracking the status and progress of open requisitions and candidates in process
  • Aid in the development and execution of strategic sourcing and recruiting plans for your assigned departments
  • Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines bioMerieux
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with assigned hiring teams and candidates
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience through responsive communication and managing candidate engagement
  • Ensure proper documentation of all hiring activities in compliance with OFCCP and EEO standards
  • Collaborate effectively with hiring teams to expedite the talent selection and offer process
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in recruitment/recruiting coordination, or talent sourcing (Degree in Business, HR, or related field preferred) or High School or GED with 4 plus years' experience of talent sourcing and/or recruiting coordinator experience
  • Demonstrate ability to recruit candidates for wide variety of positions and skill sets
  • Must be adept with the use of social media platforms and applicant tracking systems (experience with Jobvite or SuccessFactors is a plus)
  • Previous experience in a staffing agency or manufacturing roles is preferred, although not required
  • Ideal candidates will be extremely detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships, both within and outside of the organization.

  • Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs. and travel up to 10% of the time
